It takes a big man to cry. It takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

A typical journal entry...

I write in my journal two or three times a year. It usually begins with something to the effect of this. "So, theres this girl..." I feel sorry for my poor kids and grandkids who will read it someday and think, "what was Great Grandpa Steveo thinking?! He sure was a dork!" And so it begins. Theres this girl. I've written about her before (refer to the valentines day post, and an other one somewhere around there. I think it was titled "What a woman!"). She's amazing! She's the reason I went to Rexburg last weekend. Ya, I had to take the trailer back, or at least it made for a good excuse. Anywho, thats about the gist of the excitement in my life right now. I sat on the loader for about eleven hours today. Didn't even break it!! Well, I did, but it wasn't bad enough that I had to fix it. Till next time, stay good!

A brief view into the summer life of a physics stud

Soooo, this is about as exciting as my life gets right now. I wake up at 5:20 ish and I head to the site. I fuel up the loader and then I use it. The instructions that accompanied it are these "slow down before you shift gears. You'll get the hang of it." Oh and they said "try to keep the pit level." After about 50 hours on the machine, I think I have go the hang of it. At least I can take cat naps while I work. In other words, it sure doesn't use much brain power. It gives me a chance to relax though and think about physics. Today I figured out cold fusion. Tomorrow I'll probably figure out the true nature of black holes. I guess I can't do it all in one day eh? Anywho, next time I'll show you a picture of the D-8 and tell you the instructions that came with it.

My grades weren't the best, but they were better than what I'd hoped for. I'm not complaining at all! Even though my grades were ok, sometiems I'm a total idiot. I'll go into it nmore later. Hope everyone is having a great summer!! My summer is exhausting so far. Once I get over this cold, I'll be doing better I'm sure. G'night.

Look Ma!! No C's!!!!
